One of Itoigawa's oldest restaurants, founded in the Edo Period. Served the Emperor Meiji during his visit in 1878! The entire restaurant was lost in the Dec 22, 2016 fire and is currently under construction.
Tsurukiya is currently operating for takeout and delivery orders only at a temporary location. You can enjoy food prepared by the chefs of Tsurukiya by riding the Setsugekka Resort Train.
